Ceramic Artist and Educator

Jen Graff is a ceramic artist and educator residing in Athens, Georgia. For over 25 years, she has explored both figurative and functional ideas in clay. She is a Professor of Art at the University of North Georgia where she teaches all levels and processes in ceramics. Please see the “About” section for more information.

The images displayed within the website are all originals made by the artist. The link to “Functional Pots” displays a body of work that is for everyday use as tableware. These pots use a smooth clay and traditional food-safe glazes. The link to “Figurative Work” displays a body of work that in large part is also for semi-functional purposes but is more sculptural in nature. These works use coarse clay, under glazes and some traditional glaze. All pots are safe for use. Works that are strictly sculptural in nature are labeled as such. Some works are available for purchase. Please use the contact page to inquire.
